Version 7.4 - June 2026

Version 5.3 - October 2024

• Added an option to search by exact phrase.

Version 5.2 - September 2024

• Added support for searching words that contain a period.
• Added an option to clear the list of recent folders.
• Fixed a problem with resizing the program at display scales other than 100%.

Version 5.1 - August 2024

Version 4.7 - June 2022

Version 4.5 - April 2022

• Added support for many additional file types, including XLS, PPT, ODT, TEX, ASP, CS, HTML, CSS, JS, GO, GROOVY, KT, PY, RB, SH, SQL, SWIFT, VB, CONFIG, and JSON.
• Increased the number of devices allowed per license - up to 3 computers for a Personal License and up to 20 computers for a Business License.
• Added the ability to save search results to a text file.
• Increased the maximum number of files that can be searched to 20,000.

Version 2.3 - April 2015

• Increased the maximum number of files that can be searched to 10,000.

Version 1.1 - July 2008

• Initial support included Word documents (DOC), PDF files, RTF files, and many text-based formats such as TXT, XML, PHP, JAVA, JSP, C, and CPP.
• The paid version could search up to 2,000 files.
• The maximum supported PDF size was 3 MB.
• The maximum supported file size was 10 MB.
